Some
folks buy their denim pants pre-torn from the factory, sort of like buying a frozen pizza with a few bites taken out of it. Others prefer apparel that has taken decades to evolve, with wear, tear and repair as a testament to the journey. These Seafarers are the second category - as pictured and described, sizing is based on my measurements - no tags are present. The bottoms have been altered at some point to their present 18" circumference - original was 23". Circumference at knee is 16" and hasn't been altered. Pants have original Seafarer snap and Talon zipper. Some obvious patching and stitched repairs, see all pictures for full details. One belt loop is detached on top, no other current repairs needed for functional purposes. Despite being distressed in appearance, these pants are clean with no stains noted, no funky odors and no insects. Yes, I just said no insects.
