Vintage Craftsman ¾ Drive Quick Release Ratchet Repair Kit # 44636 - Cat. 44801

Up for your consideration is a Craftsman brand ¾ inch ratchet repair kit.  I believe this is new old stock but the parts show signs of storage wear.  Most notably, the tips of some of the teeth on the gear portion have some dings on them likely from the other parts bouncing against them in the box.  Since this isn’t a fine tooth ratchet, I don’t think that will impact function but I wanted to point it out.  You can see some brown fuzz on the gear portion in the close up pictures but that's just from some of the packing material in the box and will wipe off.
I don’t know how old this kit is but I think it’s an older style because it appears you have to peen the part that holds the chrome selector lever on.  In the newer models the selector is held on by a small screw.  Also, several of these parts have a chrome finish whereas the newer kits have mostly black oxide finished parts.  The pictures show all the included parts.  A great kit to have if you want to rebuild your old Craftsman ratchet with some original parts.
