KICKER 47KEYLOC KEYLOC Digital Signal Processor Smart Line Output Converter
If you are wanting a modern entertainment setup for your vehicle, the KEYLOC Smart Line-Out Converter from KICKER will give you the best sound possible. This controlled digital signal processor will automatically detect the frequency response and phase of your factory stereo system.
The KEYLOC algorithm automatically detects and examines crossovers, EQ, time delay, and all-pass filters present, and will level-match the left and right audio channels. Once analyzed, the converter will correct these various filters to give you the smoothest frequency response possible, giving you a clean audio signal.
Attach the factory speaker wire to the KEYLOC input and play the tunes. Then read the KEYLOC’s LEDs and you will know what frequencies are available from any particular pair of speaker wires. By keeping the correction filter active, KEYLOC will counteract either of these factory effects so you can use an external audio processor to dial in a 1-seat tune for the ultimate sound experience.
