Description

The DEEP TREKKER DTG2 is a professional underwater camera drone by DEEP TREKKER,
a Canadian manufacturer.
This innovative waterproof ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) requires to be tethered, as most underwater drones. The DTG2 features an HD SONY CCD camera with an
impressive 320-degree range
. A 4K SONY action camera is also available separately to capture
ultra-high resolution videos
. The drone can thus be used for underwater inspection and search and rescue missions for example.
DTG2 underwater drone features
Long battery life
: the DTG2 ROV can function for up to 8 hours per battery charge. It takes around 1.5 hours to recharge the battery. An optional hybrid-power system is also available for continuous charging while the drone is in use.
Lighting
: the onboard camera features 300-lumen LED lighting. For more powerful lighting, 900-lumen auxiliary lights are available separately.
Depth
: this underwater camera ROV is able to reach 100 to 150 meters of depth depending on the version (more information below).
Handheld controller:
the DTG2’s controller boasts a 5.6 inch LCD monitor.
Versions of the DTG2 drone
This underwater ROV is available in
four different versions
: Starter, Pro, Smart, and Worker.
The DEEP TREKKER DTG2 Starter and Pro versions are able to reach a
maximum depth of 100 meters
.
DTG2 Starter:
includes the drone, a 50-meter tether cable, and a controller.
DTG2 Pro:
includes the drone, a 75-meter tether cable, a heavy duty carry case, and a controller.
The Smart and Worker versions feature additional sensors and are able to reach a
maximum depth of 150 meters
.
DTG2 Smart:
includes the drone, a 75-meter tether cable, a heavy duty carry case, and controller.
DTG2 Worker:
includes the drone, a 100-meter tether cable, a heavy duty carry case, a controller as well as two Grabber arms.
