Renault 5 Turbo I, numbered 1134 out of 1820 units produced.
This Cinq code 8220 was built as a street version of the Group 4 Rally R5 Maxi Turbo race car, famous for the Monte carlo Rally and many other Rally success stories for the manufacturer.
The iconic mostly plastic and alloy  bodywork designed by Bertone’s Deschamps and Gandini is finished in must-have Olympe Bleu (405) over Olympe Bleu interior and Grenade red  carpeting.  The unique disco era interior, exclusive to the Turbo I is complete including the L shaped asymmetric steering wheel and original interior.
This well-preserved mostly stored car shows the usual patina on the factory original trims and the all original instruments.
